This piece is based on Bioshock: one of my favourite games, and arguably one of the greatest games ever made.

Bioshock is set in the huge underwater city of Rapture, built by the very shady and corrupt business magnate Andrew Ryan. The city's mutated inhabitants have become hooked on "ADAM", a gene-altering serum derived from a sea slug, which gives them (and the player) super-human powers such as telekinesis and pyrokinesis.

It took almost a month to put together, and my aim was to capture the moment in the game where you descend from the surface and glimpse the city for the first time.
